The Bennington Manufacturing Process
The storage area where raw
materials are kept prior to use. The metals used for furniture are
mild steel and stainless steel.
All metal comes to us in straight
lengths. |

Dave cuts metal to length then bends, twists and tacks it to create
the furniture.

Jim using state-of-the-art plasma welding, to weld. This is a further
development of the TIG welding process, but involves higher temperatures
and improved penetration. Upto 10mm thickness can be fused together.
A brilliant bright white light is produced when welding is in progress. |

Powder paint is applied electro-statically the
furniture is then cooked in a giant oven at 220 degrees centigrade. |
